Cozy and Sustainable Clothes for Kids

We have a family cottage trip coming up, and as the weather is slowly changing and nights are beginning to turn cooler, I need to grab some cozy, warm pieces for the kiddos for nighttime campfires. When it comes to shopping, I always choose to shop sustainably for my children. I like to find items at great prices, knowing my kids will get good use out of them while still paying reasonable prices.

Our go-to store is always our local Once Upon A Child. You can find everything and anything there for your children through every season. Choosing to shop second-hand is always the way to go. Not only do you find incredible deals at lower prices, but it is also great for the planet and your living space. It reduces the number of natural resources being used and the amount of energy consumed and pollution emitted.

My children grow so quickly that sweaters often don’t last long, so I usually size up for them. I love that Once Upon A Child always organizes its items by size, color, and style, making it easier to find what we need and ensuring a smoother shopping experience. I love that they sell gently used and high-quality items. Each piece has been worn, washed, and well cared for, so I know that every item is worth every penny.

In today’s haul, I successfully found two beautiful gently used sweaters for my daughter Raya at our local Once Upon A Child for just $8! I was amazed to find that both sweaters look brand new.
