Summer Ready with Jenny: Swimsuits, Snacks & More

As an avid Once Upon A Child shopper, I always keep an eye out for great finds like shoes, raincoats, special occasion clothing and swimsuits. Today, I’m excited to share our latest swimsuit finds! I was so excited to find a pair of swim trunks featuring my son’s favorite superhero. I also grabbed the most adorable two-piece set that reminds us of our beloved, favorite mermaid princess. To top it off, both swimsuits were brand new with the original tags and sold at a fraction of the retail price. Total win!

Although we haven’t had the opportunity yet to hop in a pool this season, my kids are more than ready for all the water fun we have planned this summer! A few things we can’t leave without when heading to the pool or beach are sunscreen, water toys, and plenty of snacks. I think it’s safe to say that all kids are snackers and my kids are no exception. I love this snack box with multiple removable compartments. It keeps everything in place and ready to enjoy when opened.

This summer, I’m trying to get my kids involved around the house, specifically with chores and preparing their own food. Depending on their age, kids can help wash produce, do some light chopping, and pack their own snacks. While it was a bit of a letdown that the pool was closed one day and rained out the next, my kids are still excited to show off their new swimsuits and enjoy the snacks they helped prepare.
