Sweet Styles for Your Sweethearts

There is no doubt that most mothers, like many of us, need "me time" from time to time. What better way to spend that time than at a good thrift store? When I was pregnant with my first child Rowan, I got hooked on thrifting. There was one time when I walked into a store and saw all the sweet, tiny pieces of clothing and felt like I just HAD to have them, but wow were they expensive! Knowing that newborn clothing usually lasts about a week because of how they grow so fast, it was pointless to pay $100 for clothing that wouldn't be used long-term. That’s why I find thrifting to be the best way to go and it is one of the main reasons I love shopping at my local Once Upon A Child.
Once Upon A Child is an excellent secondhand store for kids' clothing, and it carries gently used shoes, toys and accessories at affordable prices. They also have a fantastic selection of Valentine's Day apparel and accessories priced less than regular retail. Whether shopping for your children or looking for a great gift, Once Upon A Child is the perfect place to find what you need.
Valentine’s Day is here, and what’s better than picking out some cute and cozy pieces from Once Upon A Child? They make your visit super easy and convenient. Everything is organized by color, size and season which makes shopping a breeze. Their new Valentine's Day section had so much variety, I knew I wouldn’t be leaving empty-handed.
This time of year, just screams the colors pink, white and red. So, in today’s haul, I aimed for soft pastel pink and neutral tones (I’m more of a neutral kind of gal). Each item I found today was $5 or less, for a total of $35 at the end of my visit. It amazes me that you can buy such great quality clothing at such a reasonable price.
For today's picks, I wanted to choose pieces that were easy to mix and match with others. The winter weather inspired my shopping, so we found three button-ups: a floral top, a sweater dress, some chunky knit leggings and a pair of sweet ballerina shoes. Find cute brand-name, gently used clothes for your kiddos at my go-to thrift store, your local Once Upon A Child. They never fail to disappoint!
