Tips on Selling to Once Upon a Child in Ann Arbor and How it Works:
Gather up all your childrens clothing (Preemie up to Youth 18/20), shoes (Newborn to Youth 10), toys, books, maternity, and baby equipment.
We buy all seasons and do not limit you on how much you can bring in.
We do try to purchase items from the past five years to stock our store with current styles. Items purchased prior to 2014 will be passed on, so if your baby items where used by your teen... better suited for the donate pile.
Items we do not accept: Car seats, plush toys, bedding, bottles or feeding items, teethers or pacifiers, bath items, socks, or underwear. (Unless new-in-the-box & never opened)
Freshly launder and lay clothing flat in tote, or laundry basket. We do NOT accept items in boxes, plastic or trash bags. Repeat, NO TRASH BAGS. Lay sets on top of each other, do not pin or band together.
Bring your items in along with a photo ID. No appointment needed! If we are open we are buying until an hour before we close.
We will sort through your items placing items we are passing on back into your tote, so you will get your tote back.
Items we are interested in purchasing from you we will enter into our computer which generates a quote.
It's first come, first serve & we try to make it convenient and process smaller buys & equipment right away so you can stay in the store and only have to make 1 trip.
You are not held hostage during this process. You are free to run other errands and we can text you when your buy is complete. Please remember we are same day drop off & pick up though.
If you accept the non-obligational quote you can use it towards clothing and shoes that fit or cash.
We know as parents you don't have a lot of free time so we try to make this process as convenient as possible.
