Once Upon A Child Durham is looking for friendly and energetic individuals to join our work family! We offer both full and part time opportunities with room to grow and flexible scheduling Monday - Sunday. Duties include assisting customers, operating cash registers and POS system, tagging/hanging/organizing gently used kids' stuff. The ideal candidate must be outgoing and thrive in a team setting. Basic computer knowledge and ability to multitask are required. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Advancement opportunities exist for qualified candidates after successful completion of training. Positions include, but are not limited to, Certified Buyers, Shift Leaders and Management Team. Once Upon A Child Durham is a locally owned small business that buys and sells gently used kids' clothing, shoes, books/toys, equipment and more. We aim to offer next to new, brand name products at a great value to keep them in our community and out of landfills. Starting wage depends on experience and availablilty. We offer an employee discount of 30% and first dibs on product purchased by the store effective the same day you start.
