Position:

Buyer / Customer Service Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Position Description:

Once Upon A Child Kelowna is an locally owned and operated childrens' gently used resale store. Our mission is to provide a fun and convenient way to buy and sell gently used kids' stuff while focusing on quality, safety and value. 

In this position, you must present a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are assisted in an enthusiastic, timely, and knowledgeable manner. It will be important for you to promote all aspects of the business including but not limited to buying, selling, pricing, and merchandising.

The right candidate will be available to work flexible hours and meet the following criteria:

  • 2 - 3 years customer service experience
  • Retail and Merchandising experience is preferred
  • Key holder experience is an asset
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team and take direction from supervisors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy (multi-tasking is essential)
  • Sales and goal driven
  • Basic math skills essential
