How to sell to us?
Selling to us is easy. Simply bring in your items, check in and be on your way!
- Bring in your freshly laundered and clean items to the front counter. For best results and maximum cash return it is best to lay your items flat in a box or plastic tote. plastic bags are not advised as they are very tough on cloths and generally make your items look a lot worse than they actually are.
- We will check you in and ask you to sign your check in form
- From here you have two choices. Either wait and enjoy some time in store or leave and come back once you receive a text message to tell you that your items are ready.
- Once we have had a opportunity to sort and evaluate your items we will send you a text message to let you know your items are ready. We understand that some of our customers are from out of town. We will always try to take that into consideration and prioritize your order if possible but please be aware that we may have already made commitments to other customers who arrived prior as we have a lot of out of town customers. It depends on the volume we have at the time and we always try to make selling as quick and easy as possible.
- Once you have received your text message you have 24 hours to come back into the store to collect your cash and any items that we are not able to purchase. If your items and cash are still unclaimed 48 hours after we text you the items are considered abandoned and we will donate the clothing and give you store credit for the items that we would have purchased. This is done due to space restrictions. We simply don't have the space to store orders for a longer period. We don't want to donate your items and apply store credit but it is a policy that we do enforce. We will always attempt to contact you a minimum of 2 times before we enforce the policy and if you contact us we always try to work out a solution first.
- The final step is the best step. YOU need to decide what to do with your new CASH!
What are we currently seeking?
Just like we are overstocked on some items there are some items we have an increased need for. At the moment they include
- Boys & Girls fall / winter apparel in size 2 - 8
- Brand name athletic wear and shoes
- Preemie and newborn clothing
- Shoes
- Toys
- All baby equipment (strollers, bassinets, playpens, walkers, activity mats etc)
What we are currently very selective on
PLEASE do not be offended by us deciding to pass on an item. There are so many reasons why and it is possible that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your item, we just can't buy it.
Some items that we are currently being very selective on are
- Fleece Sleepwear
- Swimwear
- Skinny Jeans
- Baby items (especially body suits) 0-24mths
- Youth Size 10 & up
- Strollers (we have strict Health Canada regulations that we must comply with)
- Car seats we cant take at all (again due to regulations)
- All high chairs, baby gates etc that require all warning labels to be intact
- WE ARE NO LONGER PURCHASING MATERNITY WEAR. Unfortunately we are phasing out our maternity section due to poor sales and a lack of demand.
We want to buy your items, we really do. However, with some of those items above, such as fleece sleepwear, we just have a mountain of it currently. If you hang on to your items and bring them in at a later date it is highly likely that we will gladly purchase it.
Why did we not buy a certain item?
When we evaluate your items we are looking for many things. Some of the things that may make us pass on an items are
- Small holes
- A little too well loved
- Stains
- Older Labels
- Missing Tags
- Older Styles
- Incomplete (missing parts)
- Writing on Tags
- Writing / Drawing in books
- Styles that just tend to not sell well for us
- PLEASE do not be offended by us deciding to pass on an item. There are so many reasons why and it is possible that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your item, we just can't buy it.
Store Policies
48 Hours limit for pick up.
Once you have received your text message advising your order is ready you have 24 hours to come back into the store to collect your cash and any items that we are not able to purchase. Return Policy
Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and as such we offer a full refund on any items that you have purchased with the past seven (7) days that do not meet your satisfaction or do not fit. You simply bring your receipt in with the items that are in the original packaging (if any) and still have the tags on and we will gladly process the refund via the original payment method.
If the tags are missing OR you don't have the receipt OR it has been longer than seven (7) days we will give you a store credit for the value of the items.
If you are not able to show that the items were purchased from this store (no receipt & no tags) we are not able to offer a refund of any kind.
Beyond 30 days there are no returns, exchanges or store credits on any items.
