Locally Owned by Newport News Natives
Our store is owned an operated by Newport News natives and twin sisters, Traci and Lori, & their families. We grew up in this community and wanted to offer a service that gave back to the community we love. We are proud to have brought the OUAC brand to Hampton Roads. We opened our store in 2010. Since that time we have helped families save over $100 million dollars versus pay full retail prices. And, we have put over $10 million dollars into the pockets of local families by helping them recycle and reuse their kids' stuff.
The Powers
We have 3 children (and 2 rescue dogs) who make sure there is a never a dull moment in our house. They fill our house with lots of laughter, chasing, and hugs.
We live with autism in our family and we advocate for autism awareness and education. We believe in offering those who are differently abled a place to work and grow. Did you know 25% of our team in differently abled?
The Jankes
We are parents of an 15 year old who loves all things gaming. We are a bi-lingual family so if you see an 15 year old running around the shop speaking German, he's probably ours!
