Eric proudly became the owner of Once Upon a Child Midlothian in 2015, but his connection to the store began years earlier. His wife and two children were longtime customers, first shopping here in 2005 when their oldest was born. Like many young families, they quickly discovered the value of saving money, earning cash back on outgrown items, and keeping perfectly good kids’ products out of local landfills.

A Southside Richmond native, Eric is deeply committed to the community he calls home. He actively supports youth athletics, local charities, and family-focused events that positively impact children throughout the Richmond area.

One of his greatest joys has been watching families grow alongside the store. He has seen parents become grandparents and children return as parents themselves. Those lasting relationships are what make Once Upon a Child Midlothian more than a store. It is a true community hub for local families.

Eric is proud to support meaningful organizations, including Conner’s Heroes, The Michael Pascucci Foundation, and Crestwood Elementary School. He is grateful for the families who have trusted the store over the years and looks forward to continuing to serve Richmond by helping families save money, earn cash, and give kids’ items a second life.
