Neutral Holiday Outfits for Kids

Can you believe we are already in December and Christmas is only a few weeks away? The holidays have always been a huge time of celebration for our family. With Christmas comes so many fun festive activities and of course, Santa. Christmas parades, picking a Christmas tree, driving by houses to see all the lights and many more festivities come along with the holiday season. With all the fun activities, I always love to style my kiddos in matching cute little holiday outfits.
We recently had some family Christmas photos done and I was able to find the most perfect outfits for my kiddos from our local Once Upon A Child. I decided to go with what I know and love, a neutral color palette, for the photoshoot instead of traditional holiday colors like red and green.
For my son Rowan, I found a cute chunky knit sweater in a beautiful cream color with little hand-knit lettering that says “happy” for only $6! I paired this with a pair of comfy tan pants for $7. To finish off the look, Rowan wore brown leather shoes from home that perfectly complemented the neutral look.
For my daughter, Raya, I found a really sweet knit dress with beautiful details and big brown buttons. I also found a pair of white tights for only $12. At home, I accessorized her outfit with a big white bow in her hair and cream-colored shoes. I’m still in total shock that I was able to leave Once Upon A Child without breaking the bank and with the perfect holiday outfits for my kids.
I love how Once Upon A Child has lots of variety to choose from when it comes to color, size and style. I’ve always been happy with what I find there and sometimes I leave with a hidden gem that I wasn’t expecting to find. They also have a ton of shoes, hats and jackets for the chilly weather that comes with the holidays.
